He arrived(on time) was a clean cut guy with great customer service skills. We set up a schedule & I have been a happy customer since!! My pool pump hasn't worked properly for 1 month. The company I've worked with for over 10 years cancelled our appointment because he was too busy and then didn't get back to me. I called TPS who I never worked with before and Tyler was nice enough to swing by within 10 minutes and was able to diagnose the problem. Very much appreciate that he took the time to help me.

When I purchased my first home my house had a pool. I was clueless to how a pool worked. My realtor had been working with Tyler for years and gave me his number. He said I could start weekly service with Tyler. I gave Tyler a call and made a appointment. Tyler came out and is taking care of the pool as promised. But the coolest thing was he went through all the equipment and explained it. This mad me feel a lot more comfortable because now I actually understand what’s he’s doing. Am I a expert not at all but at least I have a basic knowledge of my pool now.

We needed to replace an out of commission Pentair Minimax pool heater for a new Mastertemp. After looking around for a few weeks and dealing with the usual share of flakes that pass for pool repair contractors (even alleged 5 star ones), we came across Tyler at TPS. He followed up promptly everytime and explained the exact whats and whys of the installation and sent a very competitive and accurate quote. He and his assistant (Ethan who has his own service company) showed up on time, respected my property, and cleanly installed the new heater. It's been several days and things are running great. Tyler will be our go-to for all pool repair needs in the future and we are seriously considering switching our regular service to Ethan. TPS is the best I've come across in over 22 years as a pool owner.

Tyler was very professional when it came taking care of my pool. He was also very friendly to our dog. He brought treats occasionally and wouldn’t mind cleaning while our dog was with him. When it came to services he clearly explained in great detail what was being done and gave me other cheaper options if one was too expensive.

Tyler's Pool & Spa Service in Carlsbad (North County San Diego) has been by far EXCELLENT for my apartment complex of 50 units where we have two pools and a spa. Our previous pool/spa maintenance person was totally incompetent, so I let him go and thankfully found Tyler right away.

I have often used Tyler for clients homes both as a buyers and sellers agent. One home in particular the clients had a mysterious leak for over three years. Prompt, smart, courteous. It's been 4 months and the pool looks great. Tyler has installed various upgrades at different times, for different reasons, and they've all made noticeable improvements. Salt cell, water timer, actuator, locks for a couple of valves that my son kept turning. He will give you a range of options for any issue because he is cost conscious. He is real time responsive, and does the work himself - a perfect customer service model. This review is based on merit alone. I found Tyler on Yelp originally.

Tyler and Ethan were: Professional, prompt, communicative, hard working, respectful, and timely. I needed to remove an old pool heat exchanger from my roof to enable solar panel installation. Tyler respond to my request within a few minutes and came out the same day that I called to do an initial inspection of the old system. He gave me a competitive quote on site (with an official quote via email later the same evening) and completed the job two days later.
